Preferred Suppliers
In certain circumstances AMEC will partner with other organisations and afford them ‘preferred supplier’ status. As a general rule, those circumstances include:

The product or service being supplied is of superior quality.

The product or service being supplied is keenly sought after by AMEC members.

The product or service is supplied under a pricing mechanism and/or delivery channel that is commercially compelling and exclusive to AMEC members.

The organisation supplying the product or service is (or becomes) an AMEC member.
AMEC has a number of preferred supplier relationship.

The relationships between AMEC and preferred suppliers are generally contractual and longer term in nature. They must, and do result in genuine commercial benefits to AMEC members, to the supplier and to AMEC.
