Who will use your information?
AMEC will use the information you provide to us when completing and submitting any contact forms on our website for a number of purposes including processing your application for membership if applicable.
We may use the information you provide to update you with AMEC event details, policy updates and member benefits. You can at any time opt out of these communications. A member directory with a company’s name and web address will be used to publicise your membership on the AMEC website.
The AMEC website contains links to third party web sites. If you have accessed third party websites through the AMEC website then you should be aware of the third party website's privacy statement as they are responsible for their own privacy practices.
We will not share or sell your personal information to any third party company or organisation unless you have given us permission to do so.
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from AMEC containing your order details (if you have provided your correct email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. If you have registered to attend an AMEC Event, delegate passes and/or badges will be available for collection during registration. You will be sent an email prior to the event with commencement times.
Refunds are only permitted for the AMEC Convention. Cancellations must be received by AMEC in writing no later than 10 working days prior to the Convention. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date. A handling fee may apply.
Delegates applying for the member rate must be employed by a company who has paid their AMEC membership subscription. AMEC reserves the right to process the application at the non-member rate if the membership subscription has not been paid at the time of booking.
Delegate passes are not transferable during the event. The delegate pass is exclusive to the person registered,
Substitutions will be permitted if notification is received in writing by AMEC prior to the commencement of the event.
AMEC reserves the right to amend the event program.
Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy
In line with the AMEC Constitution no subscription, whether paid in advance or otherwise, shall be refundable.
AMEC takes your credit card security very seriously. We use the latest technology to ensure all transactions are safe and secure. All your credit card details are immediately deleted from our internet server once the transaction is completed. We also encrypt all your information using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and operate the latest firewalls and intruder detection software, which is regularly updated.
